This kid is a Lil Bish for sure. Munchie is spending his weekend out at the farm with Bubby and Grandpa Bish. Last night, I rolled up in the driveway and the lights were off in the house. Munchie was asleep in the backseat. I got out of the car and heard noise coming from up in the barn (aka Man Cave). I hopped back in the car and drove up to the barn. Grandpa Bish and his friend were celebrating a long day of deck building with a couple mason jars full of Bish-nog (the most incredible eggnog your lips will ever taste).
I pulled Munchie’s seat out of the car and made my way through the blustery weather, into the barn. Grandpa and I bundled him up and the Bish men took a seat by the fire. With dogs curled up by their feet, the warmth of fire on their cheeks, the company of family and friends, a good drink in hand… all out there on the farm, surrounded by tractors, tools, an livestock… yeah… this is the definition of a Bish.
Thinking about the relationships Munchie has already started to develop with all of his grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc… well… it simply melts my heart. He is such a lucky little guy, to be surrounded by so much love on all sides of the family (and by our friends, who might as well be family). We are so very blessed.
Please note: Today’s level of mushiness and lack of sarcasm can only be explained by the incredible night of sleep I got last night. A well rested Momma Bish is a very sentimental Momma Bish.
